Country vacation apartments with pool in Tuscany
The little hamlet of Mezzuola, located above Greve in Chianti on one of the most beautiful of the Chianti hills, is a farm that produces high quality olive oil.
Casa Mezzuola offers three fully furnished vacation apartments, each with a private entrance, recreated from two ancient structures dating from about the year 1100.
This farm house accommodation is open for country vacations all year round.
There is a minimum stay of one week during the summer season and early reservations are strongly recommended. The guests' swimming pool enjoys spectacular views.
Aside from providing relaxation by the swimming pool, Mezzuola is ideally suited for cultural and outdoor activities. Transport can be arranged for art and gastronomic excursions. Hiking excursions through the olive groves and vineyards, for example to Montefioralle and San Cresci, are just two of the possibilities.
WiFi internet access is available in the apartments.

Tuscan Cooking Classes
Casa Mezzuola is happy to arrange personalised cooking classes at the famous Osteria a Passignano, the Antinori restaurant right next to the Abbey of Passignano. 
Classes are in English or Italian for a minimum of four people. The lesson runs from 3.30 to 6.00, and is followed by a tour of the wine cellars and then by dinner consisting of the dishes prepared during the lesson accompanied by excellent Antinori wines.

Colognole, the old "Fienile" (barn and hayloft), has a large living room with a kitchen on the ground floor and a double bedroom and bathroom with shower above (650 sq. ft.). There is central heating in winter. Private garden.
The rental is from Euro 90 to 150 per day depending on the season and the number of guests.

Holiday Apartment San Cresci for 2 persons
Apt. San Cresci, the first floor of the Fienile, is a charming apartment (330 sq.ft.) with one double bedroom, separate kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and also centrally heated. Private garden.
The rental is from Euro 70 to 100 per day depending on the season and the number of guests.
Breakfast upon request - Euro 7 per person.

Vacation Apartment Passignano for 2 (+3) persons
Apartment Passignano, the former stable, has a living room with a small kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom, and an antique wood-burning stove to keep you warm and cosy in winter (420 sq. ft.). Private garden.
The rental is from Euro 80 to 120 per day depending on the season and the number of guests.

How to get to Casa Mezzuola
The best way to come to Greve is from Florence or Sienna along Route 222, the very attractive "Chiantigiana" highway passing through the Chianti wine area. Visitors to the area arriving from Rome can leave the motor way at VALDARNO. From the west, there is a road connecting with the highway at Tavarnelle or S. Donato. This road passes the monastery at Badia a Passignano and the village of Montefioralle.

From Greve take the road from Greve past Fattoria Zano and San Cresci and hence to Mezzuola.

If you come by bus, Sig. Franconeri will pick you up in Greve.

Heating during the winter costs Euro 7 per day.

Cleaning charge: Euro 50 after a one week stay.

Minimum stay:
- three days October through May inclusive.
- June, July, August, September, minimum stay of one week.
