Palazzo Leopoldo is a manor house with style of the XIX century that is located in the historical centre of Radda in Chianti, a medieval town in the heart of Chianti Classico. The building is of the XIV century, but its most powerful period is during the Renaissance when the palace was owned by the noble family Minucci , that so rich to own 49 farmhouses around Radda in Chianti.
In the interior of Palazzo it is possible to find elements that remind the ancient richness: frescoes, pavements in cotto, fireplaces and the wonderful kitchen where every morning the buffet breakfast is prepared.

Palazzo Leopoldo has a beautiful terrace in front of the hills of Chianti. During sunny days the guests of Palazzo Leopoldo can have breakfast in this balcony.

Palazzo Leopoldo is glad to offer to its guests the possibility of learning the secrets of the kitchen of Chianti and Tuscany. The course is organized in the ancient kitchen inside the manor house and is held by Anita and Valentina, two sisters that were born and grown up in Chianti, that tank top their family, owner of a restaurant, have learnt the typical kitchen of the zone. The lesson starts at 5.00 pm. The guests cook fro about 4/5 hours and then have the dinner to taste what they have just prepared, drinking a good red wine Chianti Classico.

Palazzo Leopoldo organizes for its guests coking courses that mean a funny way to discover the traditions of Chianti zone.
The lesson takes place in the beautiful original ancient kitchen of the manor house.
It is prepared a 4 courses menu: first dish, home made pasta, second dish, dessert. The menu is decided following traditions and seasons, in order to offer fresh products. Moreover, at the booking of the course, the guests can address to the chefs their tastes and curiosities, so they will have a personalized menu.
It is also possible the booking of cooking course with vegetarian menu or special menu for people with food intolerances and allergies.
Usually the cooking lesson at Palazzo Leopoldo starts in the afternoon and ends with the dinner with the dishes made during the course and a good Chianti Classico wine.
It is also possible to organize it in another part of day. It is enough to ask for it during the booking.
The course lasts 4-5 hours and it is organized for a minimum of 2 people.
