The barn and two cottages are part of the existing ancient Medieval village and are designed to offer a warm welcome to visitors. Eight extremely comfortable apartments of notable architectural prestige, both internally and externally, have been created in the cottages. In each apartment the rooms are well furnished and have wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta pavements, stone fireplaces and masonry kitchens with all mod cons, satellite TV and a very elegant bathroom with bath and shower.
Each apartment in this beautiful holiday house near Siena has its own patio, with a pergola that is lush with flowers and aboriginal plants, antique iron tables and chairs, sun beds and stone fountains. All the apartments are skilfully lit externally, allowing guests to dine or read a good book outside even after the sun has gone down.

The greenery and stone, the wooden beams, Tuscan terracotta, dry stone walls and flowered pergolas, the roses, broom and wild fennel and the warm colours of the sunset over the Tuscan hills, all contribute to the typical Tuscan atmosphere that can be experienced in this holiday house.

Le Mascie offers eight holiday apartments close to Siena, each furnished with care and attention to detail and materials. Each one has a view over the lush Tuscan hills or the surrounding Sienese countryside.
In the farmhouse, there are two apartments for 6/8 people, "La Capinera" and "Il Pettirosso", and two apartments for 4/6 people, "Il Codirosso" e "L'Usignolo".
There are a further four apartments in the village for 4/6 people, "Il Cardellino", "Il Batticoda", "Il Fringuello" and "Il Merlo".

These apartments close to Siena are spacious and comfortable, with double bedrooms, bedrooms with single beds and two bathrooms with a shower or with a bath and shower. They have an independent entrance and a fully furnished private patio as well as the large communal swimming pool.

For nature lovers, there are beautiful country walks along the footpaths of the Montagnola Senese, nature reserve; the Montagnola has thousands of pathways that were parts of the Via Francigena during the Middle Ages, the axis road that connected Rome with France and made communication possible with the nearby cities of Colle Val d'Elsa, Poggibonsi, Certaldo, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano,and also Siena.
Other beautiful areas that are not far away and are ideal for an enjoyable day trip are: Chianti, the Brunello di Montalcino territory, the Val d'Orcia, the Crete Senesi and the Farma and Merse valleys.
