Protected Areas
It reenters in the Regional System of the Protected Areas (L.R. 49/95) what Protected Natural Area of Local Interest (A.N.P.I.L.).
It belongs to Net Nature 2000, together of areas of European naturalistic interest, what Zone to Special Protection. The recognition is due to the presence in the damp zone of the Bittern (Botaurus stellaris), rare heron in Europe and favorite from Directives of the European Community.
